Scope:

    Appropriate modelling is a fundamental and challenging issue in solving many real-life problems due to the presence of different types of uncertainties and vague information. Parallel to the concept of the probability model, the fuzzy set theory was introduced by Zadeh in 1965 to solve real-world decision problems more effectively and comprehensively. Applications of fuzzy set theory can be found in many disciplines such as mathematics, physics, economics, engineering, computer science, management science, finance, environment, operation research, marketing etc.
    The fuzzy based technologies have been successfully emerged in the many real-world domains such as in washing machines, in traffic flow problems, in video cameras, in artificial intelligence, in pattern recognition, in image processing, in data mining, in robotics and many more. Over the last five decades, a good number of generalizations/extensions of Zadeh’s theory have been introduced by researchers to solve various complex decision problems arises in different fields.
    This special session aims to bring well-known and potential scientists, engineers, researchers and students together from all around the world to exchange and share their views and new research findings related to the applications of fuzzy set theory and its generalizations in real life problems.

We encourage submissions of papers, which have not been published or submitted to any other conference, about theoretical advances in these areas as well as papers which deal with real-life problems by fuzzy theory based novel approaches.
